Ahumada: La conferencia de AHAA es una de los pocas oportunidades que tenemos de compartir experiencias y ponernos al día
Cesar Ahumada, La Fábrica USAs president and executive producer, has been a witness and an actor of the US Latino market advertising industrys evolution, during the last 13 years. Within the context of the AHAA 2014 Conference, PRODU talked to Ahumada to know about the expectations of the annual event and his vision of the current industry. The AHAA conference is one of the few opportunities we have to share experiences and become updated. I think it is very valuable the chance to listen to people like Robert Murdoch and Robert Rodriguez, I am glad AHAA has the ability to call to have people of this level he said. Regarding the current situation of Latino agencies versus the general market agencies, Ahumada considers that multiculturalism is a non-temporary reality. Latino agencies should start stopping to see themselves and sell themselves as Hispanic, since the concept is getting narrow in this context he said.About the industrys creative level, the producer assures that it is in process. Being a juror during two consecutive years, has allowed me to see many pieces in many countries and in both occasions, I have realized that both in the creative level and in the production level, there are high-standard pieces, that are as good as those of other regions he ended.
